The most exciting and scenic trek starts at the beautiful village of Minapin in the Nagar valley that takes you to the most scenic base camps of Rakaposhi (7788 meters) and Diran peak (7265 meters). This exquisite green meadow with high altitude forests offers the most impressive view of these majestic peaks. As we trek through the Hunza valley, we will see 700 year old Baltit and Altit Forts, old villages and traditional houses of Altit as well as 800 years old wooden Mosques and watch towers at Ganesh. 4th century Ad Rock Carvings on the ancient Silk Road are an astounding trip back in time. A short jeep drive to the Duiker meadow offers the unforgettable panoramic sunrise and sunset view of the Rakaposhi, Diran peak, Golden peak and Ultar group of Peaks.
Wild yaks are the main attraction of this Park grazing close to the Road sides. Khunjrab National Park is providing a sanctuary for rare bird species such as Falcons and Eagles and the game reserve area where tourists enjoy these wild life species and is an ideal sight for trophy hunting for a limited variety of species that are in plenty of numbers or are affecting the environment negatively. We drive up to the pass at Pak-China Border the highest paved road that connects Pakistan and China.
